About PanIIT and Hyderabad Chapter:

The PanIIT organization was formed as an umbrella organization, covering alumni of all 7 IIT’s, to evolve a brand that would provide strong fraternity among IIT alumni. In 2002, some like-minded alumni belonging to all IIT's came together and formed a PanIIT Board. The Pan IIT Board had hosted the San Jose (Jan 2003) and Bangalore (Feb 2003) events, which were highly successful. PanIIT Hyderabad is a local Chapter of this global organization. Our objective is to connect all the local alumni in the Hyderabad-Secunderabad-Cyberabad Area.

Great effort

When I initiated the PANIITHYD group in 2002, this was the spontaneous interest and enthusiasm from the young alumni I was hoping for. I am glad it has finally happened.

Updates!! PanchaRatna!!

ISB is badly awaiting our arrival!!

One of the things everyone is asking me before registering is - Is the event a social gathering or an academic one??

Well, I clearly dunno the answer myself, since i think its a mix of both.

We have a Panel Discussion of "Pancha Ratna" and we have a fun-skit competition between the iit's. So, ideally a mix of academic and social event.

For all those who dont know what Pancharatna is all about

The Panel discussion is essentially an attempt to refine and find ways to effectively implement this.

(I heard rumors that JP(loksatta) might drop in for the event as one of the panelists ... :D)
