OK..We have three buses along three different Routes .. Thanks for the enthusiastic response, we have reached 150 count ( including family members). And Here is the ranking of IITs by registrations: KGP, Kanpur, Bombay, Roorkee, Madras, Delhi, Guwahati, BHU!!!
 

For all those registered: Your bus route, and pickup points are notified to you and your route coordinators have called you and you have their number.

IIT Hyderabad Students are planning a wonderful day for the PANIITHYD alumni. And IIT Hyderabad is hosting Lunch, Snacks, tea, cultural activitiesm games and sports, and transport from the city to the campus on 10th Feb 2013!!!

Won't it be great to eat the Mess food and relive our iit student days ocne again? For those of us who haven't been to the campus, it'll give us an idea of how the campus, students, faculty etc. are shaping up.

Everything is planned over here for the PAN IIT hyd and IIT hyderabad interactive session.
We would be more than happy to see you here on Sunday , 10th of Feb

Events on that day ;

Morning :
10am to 1pm : Cricket , volleyball , basketball , hockey , tennis , football.

Lunch : 1pm to 2pm in the hostel mess.

Afternoon :
2pm to 3pm visit to various working models like robots , cars , flights , telescopes etc

3pm to 4pm : Badminton and table tennis.

4pm to 4:30 : snacks

5pm to 6pm : cultural programs.

Day closes.

Dear friends,

We are happy to announce that the day for the PANIIT Alumni residing in Hyderabad to interact with the students of IIT Hyderabad is taking final shape.

The day is finalized:

When: Sunday February 10th, 2013

Time: 10 AM to 6 PM

Venue: IIT Hyderabad Campus, Ordinance Factory, Medak

Activities: Sports, inter IIT competitions, Cultural evening

Invited: Alumni of IITs residing in Hyderabad, with their families

Lunch and snacks will be provided

We are looking to arrange for transport by buses rather than individuals driving all the way there.

We are looking to have about 20-25 from each of the first 5 IITs and about 10 each from the rest. We need coordinators for each of the IIT groups.

Currently we have:
Kharagpur: Suresh Adina
Kanpur: Abhilash Kondai
Delhi: Sanjay Gadhalay
Chennai: Shishir Gupta
Guwahati: Prem Kumar
Bombay: Parimi Jaya Shankar
Roorkee: Lav Nigam

We also need one person to coordinate from each of the other IITs. Not sure which all IITs are represented in Hyderabad, but assume all are.

Please come forward to be your group coordinator if you are from IIT Mumbai or Roorkee.

The event is hosted by IIT Hyderabad and the students are planning the day's activities.

The last time 2 years ago was a lot of fun! the weather in February in Hyderabad will be ideal for spending the day outside - not cold, not hot yet.
